aLabs
The Accelerator Labs or aLabs at ETTC provide flexible accommodation for companies during secondary incubation – growing companies with between five and nine employees. Incubatees can progress to aLabs from vLabs without the need for another occupancy agreement – one occupancy agreement, signed at the start of the incubation process, covers an occupants stay throughout. aLabs are between 400 sq. ft. and 550 sq. ft. in size.
aLabs, like vLabs, are furnished with high-quality pine L-shaped workstations and filing cabinets, with the number of workstations and filing cabinets depending on the size of the unit. Again, aLabs are serviced with web access via JANET and ETTC’s high-quality telephone system – with one data-port and one telephone per desk. Some aLabs have a small meeting area – typically a round table and four chairs.
