Business Development Partners

"One thing is impossible for God: to find any
sense in any copyright law on the planet."
Mark Twain

The Edinburgh Technology Transfer Centre provides services and facilities to technology-based companies during their first three years. In order to provide the required range of crucial business development services, the Edinburgh Technology Transfer Centre draws on a group of partners - professional firms, consultants, public bodies and individuals with expertise and experience in technology company development.

The relationship between the Edinburgh Technology Transfer Centre and its partners is founded on the premise that occasional and small time commitments made to assist early-stage incubatees may well lead to financial returns in the not-too-distant future from emerging relationships with those incubatees.

The Edinburgh Technology Transfer Centre carefully manages links with its partners. The group of partners is deliberately kept small in order that individual partners achieve a desired level of involvement in the incubation process. Typically, partners will be invited to relevant Development Workshop and or networking events run by Edinburgh Technology Transfer Centre. More selective invitations are made to participate in Strategic Clinics - where an incubatee meets with a small group of partners to review its business plan and discuss strategies for the future.

Those interested in becoming a partner of the Edinburgh Technology Transfer Centre should contact the Incubation Manager, Grant Wheeler, on 0131 472 4700.
