vLabs
The Venture Labs or vLabs at ETTC cater particularly for companies entering incubation with round zero seed corn funding in place and a strategic focus on the development of early stage technology prototypes. vLabs are set up for small teams and are 200 sq. ft. or 300 sq. ft. in size.
vLabs are furnished with three / four high-quality pine L-shaped workstations and one or two filing cabinets. vLabs are fully integrated into ETTC’s information and communications network. Each vLab has three / four telephone points providing access to ETTC’s flexible telephone call management system. Voice mail, call diversion, call forwarding and external voice mail retrieval are standard. ISDN lines are also available.
Each vLab has three / four data network points providing web access via JANET, the high-speed data network for UK academic and research institutions. With a band width of 10/100 Mbps and full to-the-wall data network support, best quality ICT is one of ETTC’s greatest assets.
